Welcome to Changing the World Family
In joining our early childhood program, you have become a partner in the education of your child. You have also become a member of an organization that is deeply committed to the well-being of families in the community. Changing the World Family Child Care LLC is a licensed and certified child care program for young children 6 weeks to 60 months, unless they are a sibling. Changing the World Family Child Care LLC is a participated in the state quality initiative Keystone STARS. We are also is in the process of becoming fully accredited.
Keystone STARS and NAFFC’S standards are much higher than the standard set forth by the Department of Human Services for licensing purposes. These highly qualified programs are awarded to only the early care and education programs that offer high quality services and education.
Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC thrives on the interaction of families, children, educators and community members. We are excited to be learning and working with you in our program. The knowledgeable staff at Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC facilitates early development and learning from a varied set of appropriate effective approaches based on early childhood research practices.
The overall environment of Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC is designed to enhance each child’s total development by recognizing and responding to his or her individual needs and interests. The children are offered a variety of opportunities to create, explore, discover, and are challenged to problem solve through their daily activities. We feel such experiences lead to independence, self-confidence, self-control, and a sense of responsibility.

Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC recognizes the importance of play in the learning process for young children. Play is the basis for learning in our programs.
Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC works to empower children, promote individuality, and develop strong partnerships with families while creating an environment that helps young children attain physical, cognitive, social, and emotional achievements, preparing them for the next step in life.
Each child brings to Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC a history of life experience and cultural heritage. Partnerships between families and the Center are essential to the growth and development of the individual child. We strive to create and promote these strong partnerships with families and create a sense of community that is thoughtful, warm and compassionate.

Changing the World Family Child Care, LLC welcomes ALL children, including children with varying abilities. We believe every child should know that they belong and we provide opportunities for each child in our group to participate and learn according to their own unique strengths and needs. Our Early care and education program’s foundation is based on the principles of developmentally appropriate practices that individualize planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational approaches for all children.
We strive for a universal design that is accessible to children without the need for adaptation and focuses on planning from the beginning for the broadest diversity of learners. We believe inclusion is important to children because all children benefit from developing friendships, learning how to play with each other, experiencing acceptance, being sensitive to individual needs, and being provided with opportunities to learn from others with diverse abilities and cultures.
We believe inclusion is important to our early care and education providers because it builds relationships with the families, develops partnerships with community resources, and provides opportunities for effective communication among the team members.
